I’ve never bought this product yet because I found out it isn’t necessary to spend $80 to hear your Zune through your car! I bought an iGrip FM Transmitter (labelled for iPods) at Autozone instead and it works on my Zune 30GB great! If you are on a budget like me, look for other options before blowing money on this.

I purchased this product expecting great results for the price I was paying. WRONG – And yes I did find a clear radio station and the zune played great for a about 3-5 minutes, then static kicked in. I felt like I was using an old atena to tune into the right station so that I would not hit static.

Make life easier for yourself and purchase a Stereo link.
I purchased a stereo link from the maker Monster here at amazon and it works GREAT! Only 20 bucks as opposed to 60 for this item.
Make sure you have a Minijack installed in your car. My car already came with this great feature (saturn) lov um:)

No having to worry about finding a clear radio station, static!
Another thing I should add is this product (monster/sterolink) is made for ZUNE use. In the past I have purchased products that say they are for all mp3/zune player’s and it has messed up my zune, so be on the safe side and make it is designed of zune use:)

So, hating all that is iTunes, I constantly look for other music devices, and thought that I had struck gold with the Zune. So far I love it, as there seems to be way more accessories for Zunes compared to say, Creative devices. I bought this car adapter thinking it work as good as the ones for the aforementioned Apple device. No such luck. I will admit, I did turn the radio on first, but really? Like another reviewer stated, it jumped all over the place trying to decide which station was “ideal”. After what seemed an hour trying to fine tune this thing, I finally got it to work, only to discover there was more static than music, and no configuration of wires and spacing would get rid of it, it only seemed to get worse. Too much work for an expensive product in my opinion, it should plug and go, and yes, I realize we are dealing with radio waves, but for God’s sake, it’s 2008, we should have figured this out by now. If I were reading this and thinking of buying this product, I would strongly consider searching for something a bit better.

THIS ITEMS WORKS JUST FINE. I LIVE IN TUCSON,AZ. I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THE PROBLEMS THAT ARE FOUND IN OTHER AREAS, BUT IN MY TRAVELS I HAVE NOT FOUND ANY SOUND QUALITY PROBLEMS. I SEARCHED MY RADIO TO FIND A QUIET STATION AND THEN PLUGED MY UNIT IN AND PUT THAT STATION ON MY CAR PACK UNIT. THEN PLUGED THE ZUNE IN AND I WAS GOOD TO GO. THE OTHER NEGITIVE REVIEWER MAY BE TO SHORT ON PATIENCE NOT TAKING THE TIME TO GET THIS ITEM TO WORK. IT IS EASIER TO BE A CRITIC THAN TO BE CORRECT.
