As someone who grew up playing with the original transformers, I was looking forward to buying the newest generation for my daughter who is now in a robot fascination stage.
I am very very disappointed, and so is my daughter. No wonder GM is bankrupt, their toys don’t even work (as you all know Bumblebee turns into a Camero). This thing does not even transform!!!! What kind of tool designed and tested this thing? All the joints fell apart as I tried to follow the directions. We now have a pile of yellow plastic.
So, I wasted $15 buying this thing. Hopefully this review will stop other people from wasting their money.

I think the two stars I gave it may be overrated. This is the cheapest toy in the entire world. It was so difficult to transform, and I am no stranger to transformers. I even enlisted the help of my older brother and HE couldn’t even do it. This toy does NOT fit together, the instructions are vague at best and it falls apart. In short time I was trying to transform it Its head, legs, blaster and two arm panels all popped off. And even once me and my brother eventually got it some what to the car mode it looked like a hunk of JUNK!! nothing really fit parts were not clicking together and some parts just kinda hung there with no real place. So in all if you see this toy and you think ‘huh, a bumble bee figure, cool!’ don’t think like that. It is the WORST i have encountered so far in this (or any other) toy line.

I recently bought a Transformers Revenge of teh Fallen Bumblebee toy. Let me say, that this toy, and all of the others are a waste of your money. It is nearly impossible to turn the robots into cars, or vice versa. Don’t waste [...] bucks on this.

As a robot, the toy is pretty cool. The minute my five-year-old asked me to help him transform it into a car, things went poorly. Almost immediately, the head fell off and would not go back on. Finally, I got it to stay. Then the cannon fell off. It too goes back on with effort, but falls off again immediately. Two other little yellow pieces came off too, about every five seconds. After a half hour of putting things back that kept falling off and following the VERY unclear instructions, I was able to figure it out for myself enough to get it mostly in the shape of a car. The doors wouldn’t shut and the cannon had to be removed to get it there, but I did it sort of. My son then played with it for another half hour and was able to get the doors closed. I hate the piece of junk and would rate it zero stars, but to be honest, my son likes it.

Def not for your 5 year old, I am 35 and spent close to an hour transforming. This is more for the fan collector who will change every now and then for display. Wont last long at a 1st grade show and tell. Instructions, Bahh hopeless, and who posted the review “read instructions” must have been reading the lines and arrows. Instructions are of no use, better off just breaking the thing and putting it back together yourself.
