This was a bit disappointing. I learned as much from the helps that came with my kindle 2 as I did from this article. It does give lots of tips if you want to write a book or article to submit to kindle for publication, which seems to be what the writer did with this very publication.

For several years I have fought an illness and some of my medications have created a bluring in my eyes. While a magnifying glass helped with reading it simply wasn’t enough to allow me to fully enjoy a book. I used to be an avid reader and have been sad that lately I haven’t been able to enjoy a book. I didn’t have the earlier version of Kindle but was enticed to look into the Kindle2 after seeing an article in Newsweek. I bought it and have started to read. It has/is making a remarkable difference in my daily life and I look forward to continued reading. Thank you for making this available to all of us, no matter the reason for purchase. judi

Stephen Windwalker is the true model for what a person can achieve writing and publishing ebooks. His works are timely, informative, and always delivery dozens of bits of info worth many times over the price. I used this latest ebook to help me prepare the 2nd editions of Graphics on the Kindle (The “Graphics on the Kindle” Series) (2nd edition available on 3/4/2009) and Formatting Comics for the Kindle (The “Graphics on the Kindle” Series) (2nd edition available on 3/8/2009).
Whether you’re new to the Kindle or a seasoned user, this ebook has something for everyone. You won’t be disappointed!

This beta edition guide to the Kindle 2 contains some information that was based on the Kindle 1 and does not apply to Kindle 2. I am hopeful that the update coming soon will fix these issues, and perhaps add some new information specific to the Kindle 2.

I have had by Kindle2 for less than a week. This is my first ebook reader. I read the manuals before my K2 arrived and was confidant that could navigate pretty well. I bought this book to speed up the process of learning and that is exactly what happened. I have my email, google reader, and free trial subscriptions all set up and am having a blast kindling. 4 stars because some of the info is still for K1 and some of the links seem unnessecary. Definatly worth the price, I cant compare this work to any of the others because I have not read them. I did rec. an updated copy of this title today and am looking forward to finding more cool stuff.
