We have been thinking of purchasing this gift for our girls & Gathering gift contributions from the Grandparents, but as I have gone back to check on it the price keeps going up. Someone is price gouging & in this economy. Trying to keep the spirit of Santa for the children-it is hard on parents when someone takes advantage of that. Set a price a stay with it. Many, many family's this year need the help and staying in a budget is one. Please don't take advantage for your personal gain.

I purchased this camper at Costco at an excellent price, but I love to come to Amazon for all the reviews. I am saving this for Christmas, but I opened it up to look at it a little. One thing that really bothers me is that you can't push the camper on the ground. It has wheels, but the bottom lays on the ground so it can't be pushed around like a normal vehicle. It is a very cute toy, but I can't decide if it will have long term play value.

Somewhat flimsy

My daughter is dying for this for Christmas, so I bought is in advance to see what I was getting and was disappointed with the quality. It is flimsy, yes, but overall I think she will be able to play with it, just not the smaller components. the doors are very thin plastic and although I have not played with it the way she will, I can envision things snapping off. At the time that I bought the camper (I bought the camper only) the dolls were not available anywhere at a reasonable price. I refuse to pay thirty dollars for two dolls that retail for less than half of that for the set. I finally looked on the manufacturer's website today and found ALL of the dolls, sets of two and the single Barbiel, all for less than fifteen each. WHY IS THIS SELLER ALLOWED TO GOUGE PRICES LIKE THIS? The camper is readily available EVERYWHERE for less than half of what they are selling this whole set for. Amazon will lose out BIG TO WALMART this year if they allow price gougers like this one to set prices at far higher than you can find elsewhere. THIS SET IS READILY AVAILABLE AT OTHER PLACES, NOT SOLD OUT SO DONT PAY THESE RIDICULOUS PRICES!!!!!!! I am becoming very disenchanted with Amazon and will take my business elsewhere.

Quality leaves much to be desired and does not match the inflated price

Like many other little girls, my daughter has been asking for this since she spotted it at a local store. I have been waiting for the price to drop, and finally, I managed to get it today at about sixty-five dollars (without the four dolls)at a local retailer. My daughter already has a couple of Ken and Barbie dolls, and some little dolls so we didn't need the extra dolls. The camper itself is beautiful to look at, but the parts come across as nothing more than flimsy plastic parts put together. The doors on the camper are quite flimsy and I have a feeling they will not hold up to long-term play, especially with many little hands (daughter and playmates) manipulating them over and over. There are some neat features like a toilet that actually makes a flushing sound, etc.

Final verdict - it is a fun toy for imaginative play, but it is certainly not worth paying the inflated price quoted here! There are many stores that are slashing prices so it pays to do some comparison shopping.

Amazon is ripping you off

Just last week, I got online to order this product. It was listed at $140. The camper by itself was only $69.99. I ordered it and it arrived today. Now I wish that I had ordered the dolls and came back to do more business with Amazon. Imagine my surprise to see how inflated prices became in less than 7 days time. DOn't think I'll be ordering any dolls now NOR do I think I will order from Amazon again any time soon.

Receiving the Toys R Us flyer today, this product is $69.00 at the store and they give you a free Barbie convertible. I am EXTREMLY disappointed with Amazon. I have had nothing but success over the past 2 years ordering from them.

I don't know but it seems like lately every item or toy that someone wants to purchase is never available at the store but always available at Amazon or Ebay. Sounds to me like all of you a**h***s out there that survive on ripping people off should all go to h**! You guys all run to the stores and wait outside the doors for something to come out so you can purchase it and rip off the honest hard working people out there they really want the item! Makes me sick,if it wasn't for some of you losers out there that make this their living people could still actually go to a store and pay what they're suppose to for something. I wont support any of you guys anymore I think it's quite pathetic and this kind of behavior should be monitored. Get a job that you can feel good about, stop ripping people off!

Seriously, this camper is listed at stores all over town and online between $60 and $85. The retailers and people trying to hawk this glamour camper for $100 are trying to take advantage of parents. PLEASE DO NOT PAY OVER $85 FOR THIS! You will be disappointed. If it comes with the Barbie's maybe limit it to $131. The list prices on Amazon are sick. Where is the Christmas spirit people?
